First we flew via
Amsterdam to Nairobi. After a night's sleep we flew to Calvin Cottar's
private game reserve bordering the Masai Mara. Several sections made up
our stay with Cottars: Bushtops (the family home), Fly Camp (a night in
the bush) and 1920s camp (the new venture). Our plane had to buzz the
field to run off the Impala and Warthogs all over the runway. Any doubts
that we wouldn't see many animals were immediately squelched. Our adventure
