This is a white rhino. Strange story here. The dutch were the original white men to colonize this area of Africa. They described the "wide mouthed rhino". (Seen here) When the English moved in, they misunderstood the dutch accent and thought they had said "white" rhino. Hence it's brother who has a prehensil lip naturally became known as it's opposite, the "black" rhino.
